Founder and President, DigiPen

Founder and president of DigiPen in Canada, USA, Singapore and Spain, Claude Comair wears many hats. He is also the co-founder and former CTO, chairman of the Board of Nintendo Software Technology and co-founder and former president of Nintendo Software Technology Canada. While earning his doctorate studies at Oskaa University, Calude helped to develop 3D viusalisation software which was utilised to simulate different events (eg earthquakes) in various cities. In 1988, Calude applied his experience and passion for the game industry to addressing its need for innovation and a skilled workforce by founding DigiPen Corporation in Vancouver, BC (Canada). In 1996, DigiPen relocated to Redmond, WA, and soon expanded into Singapore in 2008 and Spain in 2010.

As chairman and chief technology officer of Nintendo Software, Claude oversaw the production of such game titles as, Mario vs Donkey Kong 1 and 2 (2004 and 2006), Ridge Racer 64 and DS (2000 and 2004), The Legend of Zelda (2003), 1080 Avalanche (2003), Wave Race: Blue Storm (2001), Pokemon Puzzle League (2000), Bionic Commando (2000), and many others. He also worked on several video game projects for Digital Eclipse Software, Inc, Intelligent systems Co Ltd and Namco.
